The enclosed files, I hope, give you some ideas that will
help you use doorway. I presently use a Type 7 drop and then run one of
the two enclosed bat files. Of course you could change Raceb.Bat to run any
other program you want. If calling from remote I usually go to the
straight drop and then call up RACE. You can also use a Type 15 and drop with
an errorlevel. For that you can check Dorway.cmd. I prefer the Type 7,
because it returns me to the menu I left from.
I'm not sure that everyone understands the power of Telix, Telemate
and FroDo, in that, immediately after dropping with DoorWay you can, turn on
DoorWay mode from the term program (Telix - use Alt=) (Frodo uses "Print
Screen"). This give you full use of the F keys, backspace, del etc. Most
programs I use on a daily basis, or one's I need from remote run flawlessly.
Windows, not included :-)
In the past I've tried everything I could find to get this capability,
including CTTY, Gateway and others and nothing compares to the power of
DoorWay.
If any of you have serious problems, after reading the docs,
I may be reached at 817-776-9241 voice between 7:00 - 9:00 p.m..
Would rather handle it by netmail though. 1:388/10 My wife, "the Indian" aka
"She Who Must be Obeyed", generally, is not concerned with your problems. :-)

P.S. I use the bat files when doing a type 7 cause I don't have enough
room with RAmenu to get the whole string on the optional data line.
Damn, I ain't no expert on this stuff, I'm just telling ya what works over
here. So please don't go out of your way to show my ignorance :-) Only
Bruce (Dr. Death) and Mike (Nice Guy) can get away with that sort of thing!
